Biographical
Information:
I am a shareholder
with the Woodbridge based law firm of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer and am part
of their Matrimonial Attorney Team.
I was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey and to the U.S.
District Court of the District of New Jersey in 1986.
I was graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in 1983 and from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law, with
the degree of Juris Doctor, in 1986.
I
am Certified by the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey as a Matrimonial
Attorney.
I am a member of the New Jersey State, Union and Middlesex County Bar
Associations and a member of each Association's Family Law Section.
I am a member of the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar
Association’s Family Law Section and the Family Law Section of the Middlesex
County Bar Associstion, and serve on various subcommittees regarding
arbitration and technology. I am a
delegate to the General Council of the State Bar Association on behalf of the
Family Law Section. I am the
Co-Chair of the Matrimonial Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of
America – New Jersey. I
am the Co-Managing Editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer,
a publication of the Family Law Section of the NJSBA.
I am also a member of the American Bar Association and its
Family Law Section.
I
have lectured on Family Law on behalf of the Institute for Continuing Legal
Education (“ICLE”) on numerous occasions including but not limited to the
2004 Family Law Symposium. I have
also lectured on behalf of the New Jersey Bar Foundation (“NJBF”). I have lectured to the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (“AICPA”) at its annual meeting in Dallas, Texas in 2001.
I have lectured to the New Jersey Society of CPA’s (“NJSCPA”).
I continue to lecture to the public, bench, bar, accountants and
paralegals on various family law related issues.
I have co-presented, with the rest of the Matrimonial attorneys of the
firm, the “Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer Family Law Case Digest,” in
conjunction with our annual seminar. I have been appointed as a “Discovery Master” by the Superior Court.
I am an active panelist of the Union County Early Settlement Program and
have served as a Blue Ribbon panelist for the Essex County Early Settlement
Program.
I
have authored the brief in support
of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s motion for leave to appear as amicus
curiae in the case of Brown v. Brown, 348 N.J.Super. 466
(App. Div. 2002).
I
