Biographical Information:

Mr. Vuotto is a partner with the Matawan based law firm of Tonneman, Vuotto & Enis, LLC.  He graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 and from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law, with the degree of Juris Doctor, in 1986.  He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey and to the U.S. District Court of the District of New Jersey in 1986.

Mr. Vuotto is certified by the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (“AAML”) and has been trained as an arbitrator of matrimonial issues by that national organization. He was a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Family Part Practice Committee for the 2009-2011 term.  Mr. Vuotto is a Past Chair of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.  He is the Editor-in-Chief of the New Jersey Family Lawyer, which is a highly respected publication of the Family Law Section.

Mr. Vuotto has lectured to Family Part Judges at Judicial College.  He has also lectured on behalf of the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (“ICLE”) on numerous occasions including but not limited to the 2004, 2008, 2010 and 2011 Family Law Symposiums and has also lectured on behalf of the New Jersey Bar Foundation (“NJBF”).  He has lectured to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”) at its annual meeting in Dallas, Texas in 2001.  He has lectured to the New Jersey Society of CPA’s (“NJSCPA”), and continues to lecture to the public, bench, bar, accountants and paralegals on various family law related issues.

Mr. Vuotto has co-presented, with the Matrimonial Law Attorneys of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, a Family Law Case Digest in conjunction with their annual seminar. He has been appointed as a “Discovery Master” by the Superior Court and is an active panelist of the Union County Early Settlement Program and has served as a Blue Ribbon panelist for the Essex County Early Settlement Program.

Mr. Vuotto has authored the brief in support of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s motion for leave to appear as amicus curiae in the case of Brown v. Brown, 348 N.J.Super. 466 (App. Div. 2002).
